Recorded live in New York in 2018, Ever After brings together vibraphonist Martin Fabricius, bassist Steve Swallow, guitarist Brad Shepik and drummer Claes Brøndal.

Unbeknownst to Fabricius, the concert had been recorded. Seven years later, he discovered the forgotten recordings on an old MacBook. With Swallow's enthusiastic blessing, the recordings have finally been released.

Featuring compositions by Fabricius and Swallow, the album combines melodic Nordic jazz with the lyrical American jazz tradition, recalling the musical worlds of Gary Burton (Fabricius' former teacher) and Pat Metheny.

Released on Caretone Records, *Ever After* captures a unique musical encounter that might otherwise have remained unheard.
